Clinical application of multimodal MRI in diffuse gliomas

Synopsis

This lecture gives a brief introduction to typical and atypical appearance of diffuse glioma on multimodal MRI, as well as the possible difference from other disorders that may mimic gliomas. Recent advance of MR researches on glioma are also reviewed and summarized. The terminology of diffuse glioma is based on the 2021 WHO classification of the tumors of the central nervous system.
