Synopsis

Whole body MRI (WBMRI) has emerged as a powerful tool for evaluation of a number of musculoskeletal oncologic and rheumatologic applications. This presentation will cover general concepts of WBMRI, protocol selection, fundamentals of diffusion weighted imaging, and specific clinical applications. These applications will include multiple myeloma, myxoid liposarcoma, genetic syndromes with cancer predisposition, skeletal metastatic disease, pediatric indications, and inflammatory arthritides.
