This presentation will review the added value of DWI in the body, particularly in the oncology patients.
Body Applications of Diffusion MRI
The recent advances in MRI have made diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) an important part of Body MRI protocols, with extensive ongoing research on quantitative diffusion outside the brain, particularly in the oncologic setting. We will review DWI protocols, current evidence on DWI clinical applications in oncology, and future directions (including non monoexponential approaches).
