to understand the unique stresses gymnastics
poses on the young athletes
·
to learn common mechanisms of injury in
gymnastics and their imaging appearances (i.e., Gymnast’s wrist, TFCC tear,
pars fractures)
·
to understand how gymnasts of different age
experience these injuries
·
to learn about sequelae of gymnastic injuries
·
to learn about the other “gym” injuries,
specifically related to CrossFit.
